The real credit goes to Steve Szablya of the Seattle University. Together with his students they did all the testing and configuration of the F&P motor turned generator. I did provide the motor and the mounting weldment.
Here is the solid model of the mount I designed to utilize the F&P motor as a generator with a horizontal mounting. The shaft uses a standard flange bearing with grease fitting. The O.D. of the splined end of the shaft is 7/8" in diameter. So a sprocket or pulley with a .875 inch bore will work very well.
If this suits your needs, I can put together a bundle of a custom mount with bearings, fasteners, stator, magnetic hub, main shaft, and 70 amp diode bridge rectifier.
